Enhanace (formerly Ah-ha) Review

Enhance has many features for a second tier pay per click search engine. There are opportunities for adding logos to ads, and banner advertising.

The reason they are second tier is that they do not have a large distribution partner. They have syndication deals with several smaller search engines and meta crawlers, but they lack a single large partner.

Their customer service is outstanding and very friendly, a pleasure to work with.

The major drawback is the quality of traffic. Since just about anyone can be a reseller of their ads, they often get send some low quality visitors.

There is one reason, even with this low quality of traffic, that it is still worthwhile to advertise with them - their bid prices are very low.

If you consider many of our ads which cost $0.75 on Overture’s pay per click search engine, can be bought for $0.03-0.05 at Enhance, even if only 1 in 5 visitors was targeted (and the quality is usually higher than this - this is an extreme example), your targeted visitor cost is still half of what you would receive at Overture.
